Mr. Sun

Have you ever tried keeping 10 children, and two infants inside for over a week?
We have played board games, made play-dough, done word searches & mazes. Colored more pictures than I care to count. This morning, we are having donuts and a movie.

It is starting to get to us all. Tired of being cooped up inside. We want to play under the sprinkler. Walk to the park. Paint with spray bottles.

Thankfully my back is better. Or it would REALLY be bad!

Hmmm...donuts and movies sound really, really, good to me.

I finally relented and let my littles play in the rain for a while today.
I hate this weather. I hope it clears up soon, we are all starting to mildew!

Okay, here are my suggestions:

--"forts" with blankets over chairs/tables (I'm sure you've covered this, but just in case.)

--putting on a play (again, you've probably covered that one....)

--visit to the library?

--volunteer at your local food pantry?

--do what I did in my post today for someone special?

That's all I've got, sorry.

I am so sick of this rain...luckilly it held off long enough to have the wedding ceremony outdoors, but this is really getting depressing and there is no sign of a let up.
