Bright Sun Shiney Day

It's a beautiful day in Maine.

I woke up to the coo of the morning doves (and Griffin's stinky britches). The sun was shining on my face through my window. I decided that TODAY was going to be great!

I am spending a quiet day with my kids. Andy-the-great has some set work to do for a show he is directing. Our oldest cherubs are off doing other things. So, it is my 3 youngest. Ty, Gabi, and Griffin.

We are gonna dig in the dirt. Tend to my garden a little, and then off to the play ground.

Today I will let my laundry sit. My dishes can pile up. My floor will remain streaked with mud. I am thankful for the time that I am given with them. Before you know it...I will be begging them for a minute. THEY, also, will be off doing "better" things than digging with Mom.

I've only read one post so far and can see clearly why your husband adores you. What blessings you have :)

FOr some reason I was not able to get your blog before. User error (mine) probably. I have more reading to do, but I feel your frustration. Maddening, this process is ridiculous and maddening. I have heard SW's say, well you know the people who stick with it really want to adopt. Duh! Good luck!

I love days like that. We were outside all weekend. My kids were so dirty, but so happy.
